Tuesday

1. The character that changed the most is Knox. He changed because he saw what he wanted went after it. He went out of his comfort zone to get the girl of his dreams.
2. The character that didn't change is the red head. He tagged along with the guys and hung out with them, but he never changed throughout the film. He even told on the guys.
3. He is a free and independent character. He isn't changed because he doesn't need to change. He has everything figured out and influences others for the better.
4. Todd- He doesn't like to read and is afraid to speak up. He overcomes this with the help of Keating.
Neil- He is afraid of his dad. He stands up to his dad, but he finally cant take it and kills himself.
Knox is shy and wants the girl of his dreams. He overcomes this by stepping out and going after his goals.
Charlie was scared of conformity. He never wanted to blend in, he wanted to stand out.

Mona Lisa

The roles of women in the movie were horrible and I cannot see how any woman would look forward to fulfilling that role for the rest of their lives. I think that the women hated the fact that they were pre destined to be a house wife and cook and clean all the time while their husband was out exploring the business world and meeting new people. Women back then were so eager to get married and start a family like it was a schedule they had to follow. Ever since they were younger they have been told what to do and how to do it so they just kept following that routine up until they got married.
Kathrine Watson saw the girls as everyone saw the guys. She saw them with every opportunity at their disposal. She saw them as someone who could do anything they wanted with their life. They were the smartest girls in the country and they were well respected in the educational world.  She saw them as equal and higher educated individuals.

Comparism

The style that Charles dickens is trying to prevail is that school and learning is all about facts. He says that all things people should know is facts. This method doesn't allow you to think outside the box, It makes you think about everything that is already right in front of you. Ms. Watsons way is very loose and makes you think for yourself rather than providing you with the things you should think about. Her method promotes selfullness and individuality. The difference between the two methods is that Charles way is old school and traditional. Watsons way is new and free, which allows for new ideas which the world today needs.

Mona Lisa

I think the movie was full of a lot of problems that women dealt with back in the 40's and 50's. The movie has a lot of mean people in it that I wanted to punch in the face. The movie also depicted how much they drank and smoked back then. The movie also shows how women are becoming smarter and becoming independent. This movie is also about the girls rushing to get married and living a life of cooking and cleaning.

Mona Lisa

I think this movie is about a teacher that wants the opportunity to teach some of the smartest girls. The girls are so smart and use to having everything they want that they freak out when the teacher is strict and doesn't have any mercy on them. Its also about finding love as a young person and the journey that they all go on. I feel like they all come together in the end and are a big family.

College vs. High School

I think you need to prepare accordingly for each level of exam. The obvious differences are that you need to study more thoroughly and actually understand the concepts that you learned. I think they'll be longer and you'll have to put more thought into your answers especially if the exam or test is a self answer. High school exams are definitely easier and not a lot of  preparation that you have to do. College exams are long and require a lot of dedication to studying and readiness. You can prepare for both by taking notes in class, asking questions if you don't understand something, and study over the material before the exam.

Over Christmas I will spend time with my family and appreciate Jesus. I will also take a lot of naps and sleep in while I can. I will hangout with my friends and enjoy the best holiday of the year. While on break I will also go to the gym so I can maintain this body I have and not get fat. Most of all I will be thankful for all the people I have in my life.
